In a nutshell, the definition of autoimmune disease is when the immune system mistakenly attacks the body’s own healthy cells. I have celiac disease which is an autoimmune disease. I am type 2 diabetic that happens to present as a type 1. If you are on a pump, write down your hourly basil rates. If you are on a carb ratio, write that down too vs just relying on a carb wizard. Everything can change monthly so when you write it down you can program it later!

 

PMA=positive mental attitude. It will help you with everything in your life, especially living with the beetus! Be silly with it, it’s serious enough.
