Phone alarms! I put an alarm on my phone to take my long-acting insulin and RX drugs at night. It was a big win! I also used Pillo, a free app to remember my pills. Both were great for reminders.- January 28, 2026 at 1:14 pm
My small and big wins lately have been being able to take Jardiance and only Lantus every morning to manage my blood sugars. I used to be on so much Humalog fast acting insulin for 20+ years and I’m completely off of it now! To me that is a miracle! I’ve also been able to lose weight because of this I think and finally saw the scale under 200 pounds for the first time in over 20 years!- February 25, 2026 at 9:52 pm
With all of my hardwork, sweat, and determination, I have lost about 75 lbs since COVID. Planning to run my first Publix Atlanta Half Marathon on 3/1/26. #SmallVictoriesMatter- February 26, 2026 at 1:02 pm
Celebrated my 56th T1D Diaversary last December and my daughter celebrated her 15th in January! We’re so grateful for all of the continued progress in treatments and technologies over our combined seven decades of T1D experience! We’ve come a long way!- March 3, 2026 at 2:11 pm
